Founder of Trumeau Stones - Mark Vanderpost

Trumeau Stones was founded in 1994 by owner and proprietor Mark Vanderpost. Mark studied Architecture and Art History at the University of Toronto, and has been certified in Architectural Technology. After completing his studies, Mark travelled Europe and developed a love of classical French architecture and stone work. He studied the craft of limestone casting, cutting and carving and has been creating beautiful stone mantels, kitchen hoods, doorway reliefs and various stone details ever since.

Mark works directly with every client from start to finish, to ensure that each Trumeau stone creation meets and exceeds every expectation. Every piece is hand crafted by Mark in the studio, and upon completion, he is often on site to oversee the installation process.
