Home is where the heart is… That’s how Trumeau Stones owner & founder Mark Vanderpost felt when he discovered a 20 acre farm on a trip to his hometown of Port Dover in 2014… Upon touring the property, he was reminded of the beautiful chateaus and farmhouses of France, where he was first inspired to take up the craft of stone carving and design. A few months later, Mark moved the Trumeau Stones workshop into the old barn and began converting the stables into a guesthouse…

We invite all of our clients to come and join us at Trumeau Farm, to be inspired by the surroundings as we dream up their unique stone creation. With seven acres of vineyard,  a lily pond and antique stone statues and monuments dotting the landscape – our farm is like a little piece of France right in Port Dover…

Guests at Trumeau Farm are free to roam the property, tour the showroom where they can view several examples of our work, and watch Mark in the workshop where all of our hand made pieces are manufactured. We provide local wine and cheese samplings from our neighbours Smoke & Gamble vineyard and the Dover Cheese Shoppe, to help jumpstart the design/ inspiration process for our clients and guests. We even have a private guesthouse for those who would like to stay a little longer.

We believe that our stone creations are more than just “things.” Every piece has a story – a story that we hope our clients will tell their family and friends over the years and will be passed on from generation to generation. That story starts here, at Trumeau farm, with you!
